INVA51ON is a project that my good friend and I worked on in collaboration. He was expected to create a conspiracy paper for his class and I was expected to make a conspiracy project for my studio. Together, we joined forces to create INVA51ON. It is a storytelling application designed by me with the information from my friend. The design decisions made were intended to be interactive, with fun surprises to keep people engaged in reading more of what it is.
After reviewing all of the information provided to me it seemed obvious to relay it in a story rather than a book or a poster or any other means. The rationale for this is that this is a fun, interactive, and animated app. Storytelling through alien activity on the various planets in our solar system, ancient activity, abductions, and the various human technologies believed to have been inspired by aliens.
INVA51ON begins by introducing alien existence, accompanied by 3d rendered figures and parallax animation. It then goes into alien exposure within our solar system such as life on Mars, Venus, and Earth with rotating planets. Following this is the ancient aliens believed to be obsessed with gold and are thought to have had correlations with the Egyptian Pyramids, the Amazon, and the Templar Crusaders. Abductions were also a huge part of this conspiracy so naturally, the app goes into people who openly claim that they have spent time with these beings, and the leader Bob Lazar (a former area 51 scientist) who claims that he has seen these beings and speaks upon certain happenings and technologies believed to have been created or inspired by alien life. Technologies such as Aerogel and stealth technology are believed to have been linked to alien technology. In addition to happenings like the unidentifiable body under a glacier in Iceland or the asteroid shaped like a ship and having radio signals unidentifiable to the human race. All in all, if you are intrigued by anything alien-related, INVA51ON is a great story for you to read whether you believe alien presence to be fiction or fact.
This project was done in collaboration with Abington Hospital, Philadelphia. It consists of three murals scattered around the hospital that are representations of landscapes around the world. It was built for the children's sector of the hospital with the intent to help kids not feel trapped in a hospital and to give them the feeling of adventure. Each mural represents a habitat in nature with animals and objects unique to the ecosystem. In addition to this, an app was mapped out as an "I Spy" like game where each animal has one unique animal to find. Once scanned on the mural, it gives real-life information about the animal so the kids are not only adventuring but learning about the planet as well.

The Bayou Bar and Grill is a local restaurant on Main Street in Manayunk. I was tasked with rebranding their restaurant by providing a new logo, menu redesign, identity redesign, and uniform design. The redesign aims to capture the essence of Creole culture by featuring traditional New Orleans paintings that have been stylized to emphasize the feeling of being impaired. This stylization was intentional as the restaurant attracts a lot of young adults in a party like setting, combining culture with the environment of how the bar behaves and celebrates the "good times" culture.
